How to Play PolyMayhem

The Goal: Stay alive. Enemies spawn in waves. Kill everything. Grab XP. Level up. Pick upgrade cards. Reach the final wave. Sounds simple? Level 15 "Impossible" mode says otherwise.

Movement & Combat

Use W A S D or arrow keys. Run circles around berserkers. Point mouse at target. Hold LMB to fire. Dash with Space or Shift — aim cursor where you want to go. Cooldown shows bottom corner. Watch it. Dash keeps you alive when shield chargers rush in.

Weapons & Tools

Start with a pistol. Grind for better gear. 12 guns total: pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, snipers, LMGs, minigun. Each weapon behaves different. Shotguns shred close range. Snipers pick off necromancers before they summon undead. Hold RMB to charge grenades. Longer hold = farther throw. Release. Watch the explosion clear crowds. High area damage.

The Upgrade Loop

Kill enemies. Collect XP orbs. Level up. Upgrade crate spawns. Pick one card from four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Stack effects. Build combos. Fire rate + crit damage + AoE = screen wipe. Between runs? Spend coins in the shop. Permanent upgrades. Character stats. Weapon buffs. Invest smart.

Enemy Intel

14 enemy types. Each one wants you dead in a unique way. Berserkers sprint straight at you. Shield chargers block frontal damage. Bombers? Run close and explode. Necromancers raise the dead. Tanks slam the ground — huge AoE damage. Learn patterns. Prioritize threats. Kill necromancers first or face an undead army.

Pro Strategy

Never stand still. Circle-strafe groups. Dash through danger, not into it. Use grenades on clusters — especially bombers before they reach you. Save coins for shop upgrades that affect every run. Focus weapon upgrades early. Damage scales everything. Level 15? You need Legendary cards and maxed gear. No shortcuts.
